Manoj Borad leads implementation at Healthray. His job begins where most software conversations end. Once a hospital has signed, he is responsible for making the software work on an ordinary weekday, with a full OPD, a queue at billing and staff who have patients to attend to.
How he got here
Manoj joined Healthray in April 2024 on the sales side, taking first calls from hospital owners and administrators deciding whether to move off paper or an old system. In February 2025 he took on customer relations, looking after hospitals and clinics already running on Healthray. He now leads implementation.
That path matters. He has heard what hospitals expect the software to do before they buy, what they ask for once it is live, and the gap between the two. Implementation is where that gap gets closed, and he has seen it from every side.
What the work involves
- Setting up departments, billing and user roles to match how the hospital actually runs
- Moving existing patient records across, including the ones that don't fit neatly
- Training front-desk, billing and clinical staff in the time they can spare between patients
- Staying close through the first weeks after go-live, when most problems appear
Why he writes for the Healthray blog
Most writing about hospital software stops at the purchase. Manoj writes about what comes after it: preparing staff before go-live, what to check before old records are migrated, and what tends to go wrong in the first month and how to prevent it. He works at Healthray, and his articles are written from that side of the table, drawing on implementations he has worked on.
