One Moment In 2019 Changed Everything
Ketan Mangukiya Founder and CEO, Healthray Technologist Surat, Gujarat Entrepreneur.
I remember the moment clearly. A doctor I knew, a doctor, is gifted, dedicated, and really caring; he said that he had to do more paperwork than see patients. He was not complaining. He had accepted it as normal. That acceptance was the most troubling part.

In 2019, I made the decision. I had developed Bigscal Technologies to be a powerful software company. Something more focused, more purposeful was being demanded by healthcare. I wanted to create an information management system in a hospital that would be AI-powered but not only bring money to the hospital, but it saved time that saved lives.
We started in Surat, a city that taught me that ambition does not need a particular zip code. From day one, we chose to build for real hospitals: institutions that could not afford to wait for enterprise software, and growing healthcare providers across geographies who needed a partner, not just a vendor.
Today the cloud-based hospital management software of Healthray is operating in Indian and USA hospitals. We are ABDM-compliant. NHA-approved. HIPAA compliant. AI-powered. But what I am most proud of is simpler than any of those credentials: somewhere tonight, a doctor is spending more time with a patient because Healthray is handling the rest.
That is why we exist. That is why we keep building. And in 2026, the mission is exactly where it began – unfinished, urgent, and ours.

2019 THE BEGINNING
The Startup Healthray Technologies established in Surat, Gujarat. Core team assembled. Our hospital management software was initially developed based on actual discussions with hospital administrators and clinical staff, rather than what would be thought of in a boardroom.
FIRST HOSPITALS GO LIVE
Despite a global pandemic, the first wave of hospitals in Healthray went live. The crisis demonstrated that what we always thought is true, hospitals need reliable hospital management software more than ever.
ABDM INTEGRATION & NHA APPROVAl
Became one of the first hospital management software platforms to become fully ABDM compliant and NHA approved in India - creating opportunities for large health networks and government hospitals across the country.
AI LAYER LAUNCHED
AI-powered features such as predictive analytics, automated billing audit, and smart appointment scheduling make Healthray not just a management tool, but an intelligent clinical partner who thinks and acts along with your team.
EXPANDING TO THE USA
A First USA-based hospital alliance signed. The platform was customized to HIPAA-compliant workflows, demonstrating that the hospital software developed with depth in India could be used by the world.
